Saving Abel Ringtones & Lyrics

After playing in rival bands from their hometown of Corinth, Mississippi, Jared Weeks (vocals) and Jason Null (guitar) joined their musical talents in 2004 to form the riff-heavy, Southern alt-rock band, Saving Abel (whose name is based on the biblical story of Cain and Abel). In early 2005, the duo's songwriting talents caught the attention of well-known producer Skidd Mills, who invited them to record at 747 studios in Memphis, Tennessee. While working on their self-titled EP, they recruited guitarist Scott Bartlett, bassist Eric Taylor, and drummer Blake Dixon to complete Saving Abel's line-up. Approximately a year after it was released on the band's EP, the song "Addicted" hit the ears of Virgin Records heavyweights Scott Frazier, Rick Smith and CEO Jason Flom who immediately signed the group to the label. "Addicted" eventually became the platinum-selling single off their 2008 self-titled major-label debut album that launched Saving Abel into mainstream fame.
